Twenty-five years after Michael Jackson’s visionary Bad album and tour left an indelible mark on pop culture, BAD25 takes you back inside the recording sessions, film shoots and sold-out stadiums for an intimate look at the King of Pop’s creative genius. Poignant and candid, Spike Lee directed a documentary that goes beyond paying homage to the record-setting album featuring such iconic songs as “Bad” and “Man In the Mirror.” Using never-seen footage and candid interviews with subjects ranging from Martin Scorsese to Kanye West, Lee chronicles what became not only a watershed moment in Michael Jackson’s growth as an artist but in popular music as well. The New York Times calledBAD25 “filled with oh-wow moments,” while Time lauded the film as “an intimate view of a performer at his peak in the intense splendor of creativity.”

From The Estate Of Michael Jackson:
We are happy to have had so many of Michael’s fans at the dress rehearsals and initial public previews of Michael Jackson ONE. As the show continues to evolve, heading toward the June 29 world premiere, we are thrilled to let you know that the audience reaction has been wildly enthusiastic!
Michael Jackson ONE is the ultimate loving tribute from a team that is passionate about honoring Michael’s artistry and messages of love, kindness and unity that are as relevant and powerful today as ever. Throughout the adventure on stage, the audience is treated to larger than life images of Michael displayed on 180° screens with many emotional and climatic moments – for both the cast and the audience. One of these moments comes in the form of an illusion that brings Michael’s spirit to the stage itself to interact with the cast during “Man In The Mirror” - an illusion that allows everyone to feel Michael’s energy as it is being shared with those on the stage and then throughout the theater. It serves to remind us that Michael remains on this journey in all of our hearts.
Stage shows have always used technology to create illusions that entertain in new and different ways – from the magician sawing a woman in half to the illusionist that makes a building disappear. All are intended to create the ultimate experience for the audience. Michael is unique and technology can never duplicate such an amazing artist, which is why this illusion aims only to evoke the incredible energy and spirit of a special man in a way that will enhance rather than compete with the image of him each of us continues to carry with us. As the name of the show conveys and as we all know, there is only “ONE” Michael Jackson.
The ultimate goal with this show is to entertain on a grand scale and to bring new Michael Jackson fans to the community.

'Michael Jackson One' Sneak Peek at Mandalay BayLaunch slideshow »
Die-hard Michael Jackson fans flew in from as far away as Thailand and Japan to attend Thursday night’s first preview performance of Cirque du Soleil’s new “Michael Jackson One” at Mandalay Bay. Tickets, hotel and airfare cost a small fortune, but like me — and I purchased my tickets — they agreed that it was worth every penny, and then some.
The routine using rare, lengthy footage of Michael dancing as a hologram for the Cirque troupe is modern technology at its most brilliant. It’s emotional because it’s so magically real. Michael has become the star of the show he would’ve been thrilled to have watched or taken part. So much so that Michael’s image and creative genius were still alive last night.
“Michael Jackson One” is a fabulous and incredible spectacular from start to finish. This was a preview; imagine how Cirque and writer-director Jamie King can make it even bigger or better for the June 29 premiere. We posted a preview of the show Thursday with links to my interviews with “One’s” creative team leading up to last night’s performance.
“One” is such a riveting and immersive experience, you’ll want to return time and again to catch what you miss. The nonstop action is throughout the theater, up in the ceiling and in the aisles alongside the audience, as well as on the stage and sidewalls.
The dancing is beyond superb. The multi-colored costumes and illuminated wardrobe creations are beyond dazzling. The music compilation of Michael’s No. 1 hits is a seamless audio montage beyond anything experienced before. The video imagery is beyond perfection. Without a shadow of doubt, this is Cirque’s best spectacular in its nearly 30-year history. The pyrotechnics and fireworks onstage add to the explosive show.
The Canadian circus arts company has set itself a new bar of entertainment with a capital E, and now executives and producers will have to revitalize its seven other shows on the Strip to bring them to the astounding levels achieved with “One.” No wonder Cirque founder Guy Laliberte was “bouncing off the walls with joy” last night. “He was the most excited and animated I’ve ever seen him,” one of his partners told me at the private celebration party post-show.
Guy was there only a short time with his President Daniel Lamarre before jetting to the Cannes Film Festival for a One Drop charity event and flying back for the opening of Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay this weekend, Cirque’s first foray into nightlife. Jamie was cheered and applauded at the party but had to jump a jet to New York, so his was a quick visit, too.
Michael’s estate lawyer John Branca told me: “We are so proud of this show. It could not really be any better, and yet this was our first preview. We’ll still tweak it, tinker with it, but to see and feel the joy, excitement and overwhelming approval from an audience that arrived from all over the world was fantastic. You thought Michael was alive again tonight onstage; I am convinced he was here in some way to watch this extraordinary night. It is beyond a success. It is the very best that could have been done.”

Michael Jackson Stranger in Moscow
The audience’s unfettered, loud and enthusiastic cheering during the show and at the finale took the roof off the theater. The most memorable moments? There are too many to mention, and I don’t want to spoil your experience. So, brief descriptions of my favorites:
* Contortionist Charles “Lil Buck” Riley almost steals the show with his remarkable body movements. I thought the contortionist at Cirque’s “Zumanity” was remarkable, but this young man in “One” amps it up to sheer wonder and disbelief. If you were blown away the first time you saw Michael moonwalking, wait until you see what this guy achieves balanced on one toe. Exceptional.
* The Michael Jackson hologram dance with the cast might well be one of the best theatrical illusions ever created, and Carlos Santana might just have a rival under the same hotel roof with the golden goddess on her guitar.
*For the opening “Beat It,” the four sky-high acrobats on a bungee swing take your breath away as white sequined dancers swing in and out of the scaffolding-like set. The electric, one-wheeled gliders will have everybody calling the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog for that treasure.
* Cirque and Jamie’s interpretation of “How Does It Feel” from “Stranger in Moscow” with snowflakes falling in the entire theater is pure joy, reminding of the wonder of the first Christmas with Santa.
* The urban-street breakdances performed on a tiny strip of tape for “Bad” are an eye-popping wonder.
* The Korean acrobatic troupe seem to have miracle powers floating and flying through the air in a steady stream of somersaults that Michael Jordan wished he’d had in his winning NBA days.
* I was moved by the message of hope poignantly written by Michael himself for “They Don’t Care About Us,” with scenes of global violence, the battle against AIDS and the fight with Martin Luther King Jr. for the end of discrimination.
* I loved old video of Michael as Charlie Chaplin for the song “Smile” that led into a mesmerizing tall black female dancer in blue, then partnered with others in luminescent yellow-and-pink outfits and the blow-your-socks off ‘Dangerous” that followed with more dancers flying in from all over the theater as pyrotechnics and fireworks exploded.
* The “Billie Jean” sequence with the dancers in lighted-up, multicolored suits was so vibrant, I almost missed the acrobats walking up the walls.
* For “Thriller,” the trampoline artists were synchronized better than Olympic swimmers, even performing upside down and falling out of the ceiling. Beware the zombie monsters that ran amok through the theater because one could creep up from behind to scare.
* Shooting stars set up the opening of the Neverland gates and into its magical gardens with an aerial ballet for “I Cant Stop Loving You.” The “Man in the Mirror” hologram dance with Michael could easily have been the show-closer, but Cirque and Jamie still weren’t done with the amazement.
* “Can You Feel It” was the appropriate way to bring this theatrical stunner to a close as flags of different countries were marched over the Neverland bridge.
Michael was alive again last night, his genius and musical creativity rekindled to perfection. “One” is a show that will reign as No. 1 on the Strip for many years to come. There is one word to sum up “Michael Jackson One”: triumphant.

MJ's "manifesto," penned in 1979

When 60 Minutes' Lara Logan and producer John Hamlin toured a secret warehouse where Michael Jackson's personal effects are stored, they found a surreal collection of statues, arcade games, and crystal-encrusted clothing-- but the most fascinating item they found was a simple handwritten note.
"At the age of 21, he wrote a manifesto," explains Hamlin, "scribbled to himself on the back of a tour itinerary in 1979 that described his mission statement for what he wanted to become." The document is folded and worn, and it appears to be hand-written by Jackson in ballpoint pen during a moment of inspiration.
The document reads:
"MJ will be my new name. No more Michael Jackson. I want a whole new character, a whole new look. I should be a tottally [sic] different person. People should never think of me as the kid who sang "ABC," [or] "I Want You Back." I should be a new, incredible actor/singer/dancer that will shock the world. I will do no interviews. I will be magic. I will be a perfectionist, a researcher, a trainer, a masterer [sic]. I will be better than every great actor roped into one."
Logan, who reported on Michael Jackson's estate for 60 Minutes this week, said the letter was the most personal find in the vast warehouse of belongings she toured with archivist Karen Langford.
"One of the things that I discovered is that it was very hard to get a sense of who Michael Jackson was by the end of his life," says Logan. "Because under this siege of accusations and stardom, the real Michael Jackson kind of disappeared. I was hungry for a sense of who Michael Jackson was as a person, and what could be more personal than something he wrote like that when he was so young."
In the note, Jackson also expressed a desire to improve himself by studying the work of great entertainers. In the margin of the document he added this promise: "I will study and look back on the whole world of entertainment and perfect it, take it steps further from where the greats left off."
Hamlin, a music industry producer as well as a 60 Minutes producer, says about the letter: "It's not unusual for young artists, musicians, actors, to daydream about how big a star they wanna become, but for someone to write it down at age 21 and actually execute it almost to the T is remarkable. He set his goals, and he did exactly what he said on the back of that piece of paper."

FROM THE ESTATE OF MICHAEL JACKSON
We thank the fans for their keen interest in the matters that have been reported on recently regarding the Estate and Mrs. Jackson.
We will not comment any further on the letter we received from certain of the Jackson siblings. We think our letter in response speaks for itself.
We are acutely concerned about the welfare of Mrs. Jackson, and most particularly with Michael's minor children. We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances. While we do not have standing to directly intervene, we have monitored the situation and will continue to do so. We believe measures are being put in place that will help protect them from what they are having to deal with.
We take these matters very seriously and will continue to report on them as appropriate.
Sincerely,
John Branca

Open Letter On Behalf Of Michael Jackson Fans
in Support of MJ Estate
Michael Jackson's fan base is aware of derogatory statements made by certain members of the Jackson family, against the executors of his Estate. We are shocked and saddened that propaganda, rather than seeking avenues to address their concerns legally, have been used to gain sympathy. While we most certainly support the beneficiaries of Jackson's Estate, Katherine Jackson and Michael's children, we equally support the executors, Mr. John Branca and Mr. John McClain.
Jackson's fans understand that the task both Branca and McClain took on when Michael died was staggering. Weighted in nearly $400 million in debt, with an overwhelming amount of pending lawsuits, the Executors took the reins of the Estate and went to work.
Posthumously, the Executors have ensured the highest grossing music documentary of all time, This Is It, two successful albums, the number one tour in the world, Cirque du Soleil's IMMORTAL, sold millions of Michael Jackson The Experience video games, and are planning a huge release for the 25th anniversary of Jackson's legendary Bad album. Although every fan does not agree with all decisions the Estate has made, we agree that overall, the Estate has done well in preserving Michael's legacy. In addition, we agree with the Estate, that "false and defamatory accusations grounded in stale Internet conspiracy" do nothing to promote the positive ethic Michael Jackson espoused while alive.
In three years, Jackson's Estate is thriving, nearly debt free and Michael Jackson's music is still at the forefront of the music industry. We wholeheartedly support Michael Jackson's final wishes; that he trusted both John Branca and John McClain to continue his message through his music. The Michael Jackson fan base thanks the Executors for continuing to do just that, with grace and dignity.

PERFORMANCE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM UNEARTHED FOR THE
RELEASE
NEWLY DISCOVERED OUTTAKES AND DEMOS FROM BAD ALBUM
RECORDING SESSIONS TO BE RELEASED
New York, NY – Twenty-five years after the phrase “Who’s Bad” became a generation’s
cultural catchphrase, Epic/Legacy Recordings, in collaboration with the Estate of
Michael Jackson, will celebrate the legendary album and record breaking BAD tour on
September 18, 2012 with the release of a deluxe package, BAD 25, which includes three CDs,
two collectible booklets, and features the first ever authorized DVD release of a concert from the
record breaking BAD tour.
“The era of BAD represented Michael’s creative ‘coming of age’ as a solo artist in charge of
every aspect of his career – from recording to touring to endorsements to merchandising. This
was the first album on which nearly all of the songs were written by Michael. It was also was
the first album in history to produce five consecutive #1 singles and it took 2 ½ decades for
another artist to match that success. It was also the first time Michael would tour as a solo artist
- his vision, his decisions on what the show would be. The enormous success of the BAD album
and tour was a pivotal moment in Michael’s growth as a composer, performer and producer
cementing his role as the King of Pop. We are thrilled to celebrate such an historic era in
Michael’s career with this release”, stated John Branca and John McClain, Co-Executors of the
Estate of Michael Jackson.
The BAD 25 anniversary deluxe edition will feature three CDs and 1 DVD as follows:
• The highlight of the package is the DVD of Michael’s legendary July 16, 1988 concert at
Wembley Stadium. The concert is not a compilation of performances, but rather one
complete show, exactly as Michael performed it for Prince Charles, Princess Diana and
the 72,000 fans who were in the audience for that night’s sold out show. This show was
one of the record-breaking seven nights played at the venue attended by more than half a
million people – three times that many people tried to purchase tickets. The DVD was
sourced from Michael Jackson’s personal VHS copy of the performance as shown on the
JumboTrons during the concert. This footage was only recently unearthed and is the only
known copy of the show to exist. The visuals have been restored and the audio quality
enhanced so that fans can share in the excitement of that famous night
• A CD of the re-mastered original BAD album
• A CD containing previously unreleased material recorded in Michael’s personal studio at
Hayvenhurst. This material includes early demo versions of songs from the album as
well as demos for songs not included on the final album. All of this material is being
released as it was recorded during the BAD sessions. Nothing has been added. In
addition, this CD will also include new remixes from internationally renowned
DJ/producers
• A CD showcasing the audio from the sound truck recordings of the July 16th Wembley
performance. The first-ever live Michael Jackson CD to be released, this is the only
concert from the BAD Tour known to exist on multitracks
This magnificent 3 CD/1 DVD box set will also include two extensive booklets with yet unseen
photos from the recording sessions, video sets and the concert tour, the original BAD cover art, a
two-sided poster and more. A BAD 25 two CD standard edition featuring the original album
plus the CD of demos and new remixes will also be made available as will a stand alone edition
of the DVD and a picture disc of the original album.
On June 5 in the U.S. (June 4th ex-U.S.), Epic / Legacy Recordings will re-release the original
first single from the album "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" as a CD Single with a previously
unreleased bonus track from the BAD sessions, "Don't Be Messin' 'Round (demo)." This is a
Wal-Mart exclusive CD single in the U.S. and will not be available digitally.
On June 26 a replica edition of the original 7" vinyl of this single with the original B-side "Baby
Be Mine" will be made available to the world. The first single for BAD, “I Just Can’t Stop
Loving You,” was originally released on 7" vinyl in 1987. The 7" single edit of the song has
only been available on that original 7" vinyl until now.
Recently, Pepsi announced an exclusive global partnership with the Estate of Michael Jackson as
part of its new “Live for Now” campaign. Starting this month, Michael Jackson and Pepsi fans
in more than 20 countries around the world will experience this partnership in a variety of ways,
including a retail campaign featuring one billion special edition Michael Jackson Bad 25 Pepsi
cans, live events, and opportunities for fans to access special edition merchandise and new music
from BAD 25.
The BAD album was the third Michael Jackson album produced by Quincy Jones and was
originally released on August 31, 1987. It was monumental in many ways; Michael wrote nine of
the album's eleven tracks and received co-producer credit for the entire album. The album was #1
around the world, made history with five consecutive #1 singles on the Billboard chart, produced
ten chart-topping singles, nine ground breaking short films and to date, the Bad album
has generated over 45 Million units in sales. BAD was nominated for six Grammys and won
two; the album earned Michael the first-ever Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMA Awards.
Songs on the original album are: “Bad,” “The Way You Make Me Feel,” “Speed Demon,”
“Liberian Girl,” “Just Good Friends” featuring Stevie Wonder, “Another Part of Me,” “Man in
the Mirror,” “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Dirty Diana,” “Smooth Criminal,” with “Leave
Me Alone” added to the album once released.
The BAD World Tour was Michael’s first concert tour as a solo artist. The legendary tour
included 123 concerts attended by more than 4.4 million fans over sixteen months. When it
concluded, the tour had shattered all previous touring records for attendance and total gross
revenue adding three new entries in the Guinness World Records for the largest grossing tour in
history, the tour with the largest attended audience and the most sold out shows at Wembley
Stadium.
More details on this and other exciting projects relating to BAD’s 25th anniversary will be
announced soon.

Recently, Pepsi announced an exclusive global partnership with the Estate of Michael Jackson as
part of its new “Live for Now” campaign. Starting this month, Michael Jackson and Pepsi fans

Statement from attorney Howard Weitzman, on behalf of The Estate of Michael Jackson
The Estate of Michael Jackson filed claims against Tohme Tohme for misconduct that it determined occurred during the brief time he was associated with Michael as his personal manager as well as actions that took place after Michael passed away. We expect Mr. Tohme to file a lawsuit against the Estate. We believe the facts will show that Mr. Tohme’s claims are meritless and that Mr. Tohme engaged in wrongdoing with respect to Michael Jackson starting early in their relationship. The Petition filed summarizes our position and we will let this matter be litigated in the courts

Michael Jackson's three children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, honored their father by immortalizing his handprints and footprints in wet cement during a ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Thursday (Jan. 26).
According to Reuters, Paris imprinted her father's iconic sequined glove into the cement, while Prince and Blanket placed his shoe into the cement, before all three left their own handprints next to their father's. A hundred fans attended the event, including Justin Bieber, Chris Tucker, Quincy Jones and Jackson's brothers Tito and Jackie.
Jackson's mother Katherine called the ceremony "a very, very solemn occasion for my son." Bieber, in turn, told the crowd, "Everything I do, I look at Michael and I want to be as good as he was."
Jackson's prints will now reside next to Hollywood royalty like Fred Astaire and Marilyn Monroe at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. The ceremony comes one day before Cirque du Soleil begins a three-night stay at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as part of their "Michael Jackson: The IMMORTAL World Tour" run.

Complete Statement from the Estate of Michael Jackson - Murray Sentencing!
Michael Jackson’s death was a huge loss to his children, his family, and his fans worldwide. A jury determinied Michael’s untimely passing was caused by Conrad Murray. Dr. Murray in pre-trial statements and in a post-trial documentary expressed no remorse or responsibility for Mr. Jackson’s death. The Estate of Michael Jackson believes that the sentence imposed on Conrad Murray by Judge Pastor was appropriate and called for. The egregious conduct of Dr. Murray when “treating” Michael Jackson was bad enough but when coupled with his outrageous lies in trying to cover up his wrongdoing after Michael was dying and/or had died only served to magnify his criminal actions. Michael Jackson was the one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived and he will be missed by millions.
Letter from the Estate of Michael Jackson to NBC
No sooner was Conrad Murray ordered led away in handcuffs after his conviction on manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson than we discovered your MSNBC network inexplicably will showcase him in primetime Friday night as if he is worthy of celebrity.
The mere tile of your “documentary”, Michael Jackson and the Doctor: A Fatal Friendship,” is bewildering. Since when was Dr.Murray ever Michael Jackson’s friend? Since when does any doctor- let anyone any friend – act in such an irresponsible manner in the care and treatment of another human being?
MSNBC excerpts released thus far suggest Dr.Murray, who refused to tell his story under penalty of perjury in a court of law, apparently has no qualms about smearing the reputation of his “Friend.” According to his one-sided spin, Dr.Murray says:
“He asked me, Please, please Dr.Conrad…I need some milk so that I can sleep. If I don’t get any sleep today, I cannot perform, I cannot do anything.” Thus, MSNBC gives Conrad Murray, a platform to shift the blame post-conviction to Michael Jackson, even though a jury considered the evidence and rejected this very arguments.
We have read news account that Dr.Murray has had cameras hollowing him since 2009 as if he is his own reality television show. We also have seen October Films claiming that Dr.Murray received a nominal $1 for an “exclusive look at the last two years of Murray’s life” whole leaving open the question of whether payments were made to his representatives.
As the executors of the estate of the victim of Dr.Murray’s crime, we would like to know how much money in total was paid for this privileged “access?” Was it really only $1, or was it more?
It doesn’t matter to us it was a production company, Comcast, NBC Universal or MSNBC that paid for “access” to Dr. Murray because all are morally culpable. It is equally irrelevant whether any of all interviews took place before the jury convicted him. These are moral loopholes aimed at excusing a reprehensible program stemming from Michael Jackson’s tragic death that not only aired, but which is being heavily promoted on the Today Show in order to boost ratings at a struggling cable network.
Dr.Murray’s victim, Michael Jackson, was a loving father, an incredible talent and someone who had much left to give to the world. Dr.Murray is a convicted felon who a judge felt completed to have place in handcuffs and jailed immediately after the jury delivered its verdict. He is not someone NBCUniversal should be giving a platform to on a prime-time pedestal. We demand that you exercise proper judgment and refrain from airing this program.
Very truly yours,
John Branca

Co-Executors - The Estate of Michael Jackson
Statement from the Estate of Michael Jackson regarding the Murray documentary
From the Estate of Michael Jackson:
Like so many of Michael’s fans, the Estate is also disgusted by MSNBC’s irresponsible and inexplicable decision to air a Conrad Murray “documentary” and the Co-Executors, John Branca and John McClain, are sending a letter to the top executives at Comcast, NBC Universal and MSNBC to express their disdain for their actions.
LETTER FROM THE GLOBAL MICHAEL JACKSON FAN COMMUNITY
Official Statement on Conrad Murray Trial Verdict
"The Truth runs Marathons"
Michael Jackson
Today, after a long and intense trial, the jury in the Conrad Murray involuntary manslaughter case has rendered a 'Guilty'
verdict. Around the world, fans and supporters of Michael Jackson extend their sincere gratitude to the jurors who put their
lives on hold to serve their community.
Michael Jackson fans would like to thank the Honorable Judge Pastor, who ensured that this trial remained centered solely
on the actions of Conrad Murray on June 25, 2009, rather than being reduced to a sensationalized media event. We also
extend our deepest gratitude to DDA David Walgren and DDA Deborah Brazil for the outstanding vigor, focus and
professionalism in which they pursued this case.
The Michael Jackson fan base has waited for over two years for this verdict. While the majority were anxious for the trial to
begin and conclude with a conviction of Conrad Murray, we were also keenly aware that this trial would inevitably place the
media microscope on Michael Jackson. For weeks we have watched and listened as mainstream media ignored the clear
facts stated in Michael Jackson's autopsy and toxicology reports, and the corroborating testimony given by various experts,
that he died from acute propofol intoxication; preferring instead to speculate about issues unrelated to the crucial events of
June 25, 2009.
Conrad Murray’s choice to ignore standard and essential safety procedures when applying a demonstrably inappropriate
drug to treat his insomnia, led directly to Mr Jackson’s death. As the testimonies of Dr. Alon Steinberg, Dr. Nadar
Kamangar and Dr. Steven Shafer attest, if not for Murray’s egregious deviations from the standard of care, Michael
Jackson would have been alive today.
We, the undersigned, continue pledging our support to Michael Jackson’s artistic and humanitarian legacy and our love to
his family, especially his three beloved children. His message is still very relevant today, and as we steadfastly push ahead
without him, we are determined to live his message and carry it on to the next generation.
Today, although there is some semblance of justice, we truly believe when the media stops sensationalizing Michael
Jackson’s life and death to the frenzied masses and show truthful understanding of the man, then and only then, will
Michael Jackson receive true justice.

Message from John Branca- the IMMORTAL CD
I'm very appreciative that a number of Michael’s fans were able to come to Montreal to see the rehearsals and share in the creation of this wonderful new show. The show has only gotten better since then, and the reviews have been extremely positive, as Michael deserves.
What also excites me is the opportunity it provides for those just discovering Michael for the first time. As much as Immortal is for Michael Jackson fans, it offers new fans a magical journey into Michael's music, his dance and his compassion for others. The show's creative team, led by writer/director Jamie King, have done a masterful job of weaving Michael’s songs, choreography, videos, voice, and, most important, Michael's spirit into this experience.
The Immortal soundtrack album will be released on November 21. Kevin Antunes worked with Jamie King in reimagining Michael's original recordings for the show, as they sync with the visuals onscreen and the live action on stage. The music is incredibly exciting, and it stands on its own as a listening experience. While no one can improve upon Michael's music, these remixes, mashups and enhancements, while intended for the show, give us the chance to hear Michael's music in a new and fresh way. All in all, we think it is a must-have album. My favorite way to listen to the album is from start to finish because it brings back vivid memories of the Immortal show, but I also enjoyed listening to the music before I ever saw the show.
The physical album is available for pre-order now. The digital album will be available for pre-order on iTunes on Tuesday, and people who pre-order the deluxe version of the digital album will be able to download the Mega Mix single immediately. This will be everyone's chance to hear one of the show-stopping highlights from Immortal, and begin to understand how incredible this album really is. The single track will also be available for purchase.
Because we all love Michael and believe that he is the greatest artist of all time, we want to encourage Michael’s fans to unite in a worldwide campaign to support this album during its first week of release – November 21-28. We are asking for everyone to help the album debut as high as possible on charts around the world.
This is for Michael – he deserves it!

Esteemed musical designer, Kevin Antunes, worked with Jamie King, the writer/director of the Immortal show, in redesigning and reimagining more than 40 of Michael Jackson’s greatest original recordings to synch with the visuals on screen and the live action on stage. After spending a year in the studio working with Michael’s original multi-track master recordings, Kevin created a new soundscape to Michael’s artistry while preserving the power and familiarity of his unparalleled voice and his legendary tracks.
Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour includes over 100 minutes of Michael's original recordings reimagined for Cirque du Soleil.
Placing all of this incredible music onto a single disc proved impossible hence the single disc edition which is jam-packed with nearly 78 minutes of highlights and the double disc edition which offers listeners the opportunity to enjoy music from the Immortal show from start to finish as it is experienced during the performance of the show.

Message From MJ Estate "Regarding Michael's Wishes - Children's Charities"
We all know how much Michael cared about children and children’s charities, among his many causes, and we also know that many of Michael’s fans want to honor him by making charitable donations or volunteering their time to help others. We have received many inquiries from concerned and caring fans looking for information to help them in making their choices in this regard.
Although we are not at liberty to provide any details at the present time, we can say that the Executors are very much looking forward to sharing with the fans (and the world at large) the way in which they intend to implement Michael’s wishes under his will to have a certain portion of his estate benefit children’s charities. The process is underway but there are many steps that have to be taken before the announcement can be made. Bear with us, keep your faith, commitment and patience.
Just know that this is an important concern and focus for the Estate.

TRIBUTE PROMOTER'S LETTER 'CONDESCENDING AND INSULTING', SAYS MJ COMMUNITY
Via Stereoboard - Angry MJ fans have deemed a letter from Global Live Events to the members of the MJ Community as ‘condescending and insulting’ after they replied to concerns aired by MJ fan forums.
The letter, written by GLE's tributer producer Andy Picheta, individually addressed concerns felt by fans that have made it publicly known that they are against the concert. Picheta claimed that their concert will be “the only multi-artist, family led, pure Michael tribute that will ever take place” – but they fans believe the artists they have scheduled are a cause of concern, and that the tribute is not completely family led – Randy and Jermaine have opposed the concert since the start and various members of the Jackson family have become embroiled in the conflict surround it.
GLE have also come under scrutiny after they attempted to define what a ‘true MJ fan’ was – infuriating the members of MJ Community, who see themselves as the true fans. The letter, though, isn’t the only thing which has outraged fans – as bungling co-ordinators started selling tickets on a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGOF) basis in an attempt to shift some of the 75,000 tickets on sale for the concert.
The move will surely upset fans who have already forked out hundreds of pounds for tickets only to see the same tickets now effectively selling for half the price of just days previous. It’ll also stoke rumours that the concerts ticket sales have been poor, as the organisers try to raise their revenues needed before the show, scheduled for October 8th in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
Fans on the M4Tribute Facebook page for the concert are particularly unhappy and have been posting messages reminding the organisers of previous MJ concerts that sold-out in minutes and broke ticket records – including a gig on September 7th 2001 (ten years ago yesterday) which sold out Madison Square in just 30 minutes.
The news comes after more bookings were announced for the show, including the not-so-renowned Tommy Organ, who played guitar on the This Is It tour and the more justifiable hiring of soul singer Gladys Knight.

GLE's Letter to members of the MJ Fan Community
Thank you for the opportunity to send a message to Michael’s fans though your club. I know the fans have a number of concerns, most of which were highlighted in Mr Weitzman’s open letter to Chris Hunt. Others have come to the fore since, and I will discuss these also. I have been talking to a number of fan club presidents, and although the emphasis has been different, the core issues are clear.
Equally, our endeavours are clear also: We are presenting the Jackson family tribute to Michael. We have artists of international stature, or with meaningful links to Michael’s music, or both. Together with Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green, we have performers who have sympathetically and successfully presented Michael’s material – Craig David, Alien Ant Farm. We have young stars who humbly acknowledge inspiration by Michael; JLS, Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott, and Motown legends Smokey Robinson and Gladys Knight who in turn inspired Michael. Attending are Mrs Jackson and the children, siblings La Toya, Tito, Marlon and Jackie, and nephews Siggy, Taj, Taryll and TJ. Ron Weisner, Michael’s ex manager, is the creative producer, ensuring the presentation and performances are of Michael. Kevin Dorsey, who worked with Michael on tours Bad, Dangerous and History, is the Musical Director, working with band and singers to recreate Michael’s exact vision. We have band members of whom every one has played for Michael, either on tour or in the studio. Rehearsals have started in Los Angeles, and the vibe is one of purity of performance and responsibility to the musical legacy.
Michael Forever is the only multi-artist, family led, pure Michael tribute that will ever take place, so put aside your doubts, understand that artists and professionals of this calibre would not associate themselves with anything that was untrue to Michael, accept that we are dealing with your concerns where possible, and join us in honouring one of the world’s greatest ever musical performers while you still can.
We understand your concerns and we are addressing your worries, in the following ways:
The Estate
We have the greatest respect for the estate, the work it does continuing Michael’s legacy and the rights it owns. Until now we have been working in parallel with the estate, licencing available rights to present the show, but still working on the creative for it. The estate has not endorsed Michael Forever, and with the rights we have available, we have not sought or required such endorsement. Now that rehearsals have started, and we have a clearer idea of the shape of the event, we are preparing to reach out to the estate and seek commercial terms to licence certain rights owned by them we have identified as desirable.
The Trial
The timing is unfortunate. When we scheduled the concert in April the trial was due to start in June. It may move again yet. It may be over very quickly, or it may delay again. We believe, and the family believes, that a positive presentation of Michael’s musical genius can only be a good reminder of how great a loss was the loss of him.
Katherine Jackson
Michael’s mother chooses to honour her son. That’s it. Michael worshipped his mother and was very close to La Toya. His fans should respect that bond, and not post such unpleasantness that Taj feels he must publicly protect his grandmother on the web. No true fan of Michael would dishonour Mrs Jackson. Those that do are not deserving of anything other than our disappointment with their actions. The trust fund GLE set up in the children's name and administered by Katherine is our contribution to the family legacy. It was done openly, honourably and with our best intentions.
Other issues
Please remember that the British consumer has a huge amount of protection in English law, and the Event Terms and Conditions are written for insurers, and ours are less onerous than most others. Here's the clause from the Glastonbury festival: "2. The artist and performer line-up and all billed attractions may be subject to change at any time without notice". All purchasers also receive the standard protection offered by their credit card companies. You will see a great show, with exclusively Michael’s music performed by first class acts. The bill is still being added to, but the essence will always be Michael and his genius.
I hope these answers go some way towards explaining our position. We have a tribute worthy of Michael, presented by people passionate and dedicated to doing it right, to his family who loved him, performed by those who were inspired by him or inspired him, those who performed alongside him. We have further important announcements to make in the next few days that will prove beyond doubt that Michael Forever will be the purest most focused Michael tribute ever.
Thank you for reading

MJ4JUSTICE'S RESPONSE TO ANDY PICHETA -
Dear Mr.Picheta,
You would be better served in taking a class in customer service, Because your letter to the members of the MJ Fan community was condescending and insulting.
The mere fact, you include in your letter a determination of who is and who is not a “TRUE FAN” is totally out of order. And quite frankly - not your place, sir. The truth of the matter, any “true fan” as you put it, would have known NOT to invite Gene Simmons to any Michael Jackson Tribute event, in the first place.
It was the fan community that stood behind Michael through all his trials and tribulations. And you need to respect that . Michael did!
The fact, you hide behind Katherine Jackson is equally insulting. Stand up for yourself, Mr. Pricheta and do not use Michael’s Mother as a means to attack and determine who is a “true fan”.
Once again , not your place, not your right. You have done nothing to deserve that privilege.
Our issues are with you, the promoter of this event. Your timing, is once again, inappropriate.
Tomorrow, begins the jury selection process in the Conrad Murray trial.
And that should be the concern of everyone who is concerned with Michael and his legacy.
Good day, Sir.

From MJ Fans United For Legacy
Via MJFUL - Yesterday, a USA Today news article surfaced on the Internet with an unsavoury headline.
Knowing how sensitive Michael Jackson was about tabloids using this moniker, fans and various fan clubs, from across the globe, quickly got into rapid response mode and immediately reached out to USA Today and their Standard Editor Brent Jones to have the headline corrected.
Such a degrading headline is always upsetting, but when it is coming from a national reputable news organization like USA Today, it is numbing.
A little over 24 hours after the headline first popped up, the title was corrected and the demeaning moniker, gone.
We want to thank ALL MJ Fans who took the time to contact the newspaper....and we applaud USA Today for listening and acknowledging our request to respect Michael Jackson and his name!
Although the USA Today story had a somewhat happy ending, we want to remind you that we still have an ongoing campaign against CBS News, for using the same moniker. Now, six days after the story first appeared on their website, we have been hard at work, trying to convince @CBSNEWS , @CBS and @CBSDailyShow to correct their headline. So far, our requests have gone unanswered, but fans intend on supporting this campaign until we get the desired result.

We Are Here To Change The World!
Congratulations to MJ Fans - USA TODAY changed their headline and Dropped the Offensive "JACKO"
UPDATE: After an intense outcry from Michael Jackson Fans WORLDWIDE! USAToday changed its headline. The term, JACKO was replaced with the appropriate "Jackson"
Once again, proves that when MJ fans raise their voice as one, THEY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!
Once again, proves that when MJ fans raise their voice as one, THEY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!
It's Jackson NOT JACKO!
Jacko is a Racist Term!
** I wrote this blog in July 2009 - right after MJ's passing. I see nothing has changed and this disgusting journalistic practice has continued! This weekend, another disturbing article appeared in USA TODAY - using the disparaging phrase. THIS NEEDS TO END NOW !!!!!
MJ FANS HAVE HAD ENOUGH! - Yet, again - We have to be his voice NOW!
A tearful Marlon Jackson pleaded to the media “ Maybe NOW, they will leave him alone”......the sad realization that this will never happen....shakes one to the core.
The child star who gave up his childhood to thrill millions is gone. And nothing will change that fact. I can not help but wonder what Michael Jackson would say of the media frenzy that has escalated since his passing. The word horrified comes quickly to mind.
The media both tabloid and traditional has continued their relentless assault on the legacy of Michael Jackson. Music producer, LA Reid stated recently that we should
“ turn up the music and turn down the chatter”. Well, that respectful request has been ignored and the “chatter” has turned into a disgusting whirlwind of speculation and innuendo. The facts be damned !
I watch as traditional media outlets lead their newscasts with vile headlines that come straight from tabloid outlets. When did that happen? When was it decided.... it was acceptable to throw out journalistic standards to continue to crucify a man ?
Why are many still using derogative terms such as “ JACKO” It is a demeaning, sensationalist term.... that it is not worthy of Michael Jackson and all his ground breaking achievements.
The term “Wacko Jacko” continues to dehumanize Michael Jackson and destroys his legacy.... I maintain it is veiled racism....but, racism just the same.
One has to wonder if the continued efforts to dehumanize Michael is an assault to
devalue Michael Jackson and therefore, devalue his historic legacy and to prevent him from surpassing The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Sinatra and Elvis.
One should also ask.....If this assault is allowed to continue is the media cheating his children out of the true legacy of their father and put in jeopardy the financial security of Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson?
In an interview with Barbara Walters...Michael Jackson discussed the term “ Wacko Jacko”
Michael: You should not say, "He's an animal...he's a..." You should not say, "He's Jacko." I'm not a 'Jacko'. I'm Jackson.
Barbara: How do you feel when they call you...
Michael: Yeah, Wacko Jacko, where did that come from? Some English tabloid. I have a heart and I have feelings. I feel that when you do that to me. It's not nice. Don't do it. I'm not a "wacko".
It is time to let Michael Jackson truly rest in peace. The media needs to behave itself and stop acting let a petulant child....who wants the biggest piece of candy.
We should begin calling out the so-called reporters, producers, networks, celebrity blogs and tabloids that have enjoyed a destructive carte blanche approach in portraying Michael Jackson ...as anything else but a human being
The media needs to accept their responsibility in the dehumanizing of Michael Joseph Jackson and his eventual death.
It is a sad responsibility that many share .....and we should be outraged but most importantly, we should be ashamed!
TO THE MEDIA -PLEASE LEAVE HIM ALONE...HE’S GONE ..NOW, MOVE ON...please
Written by Melanie - July 2009!
FOR ALL WHO ARE SAYING the term "JACKO" " IS NOT RACIST" Please read the BLOG first- The reason "JACKO" is a racist is clearly explained in what was written. I understand the term "racist" is disturbing to many of you. But the FACT is, Racism played a big part of how the media TORTURED Michael and it continues today. Saying "IT IS NOT RACIST" does not make it go away - despite how uncomfortable it makes some of you feel .
Michael talks about the impact of Racism on his Career and his Life!

MICHAEL JACKSON'S NEPHEW TAJ ATTACKS "FANS" OVER TRIBUTE CONCERT CRITICISMS
VIA STEROBOARD - Michael Jackson’s nephew Taj Jackson is the latest member of the family to become embroiled in the conflict over the Michael Forever Tribute Concert – this time slamming the irate fans who have labelled his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, as greedy.
Taj (on the left of 3T), real name Toriano Adaryll Jackson II, tweeted an impassioned plea to Jackson fans in the early hours of this morning against his uncle's fans who had made what he saw as personal attacks on members of his family. Clearly unhappy, he messaged and addressed some of his 30,000 Twitter followers and continued to argue with them until he decided to leave – even claiming he deleted some of the fans from his Twitter.
The tweet-tirade kicked-off at around 1:50am this morning, with the message:
“I learned the concept of fans from my uncle [Michael]. Sorry, you cannot call yourself a fan & attack MJ's mother or kids. That is not a fan.”
He received well over 100 re-tweets and replies from fans but, after some irate MJ die-hards disagreed, the tweets began to pour out.

Tribute Concert Promoters Fail to Sway Jackson Fan Clubs
New York Times - The promoters of a Michael Jackson tribute concert tried to dispel the concerns of fan clubs Monday during a series of international conference calls on Wednesday, but leaders of some large groups said afterwards they were still opposed to the event.
For weeks, fan clubs have criticized the promoters for staging the “Michael Forever” concert in Wales on Oct. 8, around the same time as the involuntary manslaughter trial in California of Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician who was caring for Mr. Jackson when he died in June 2009. Several fan clubs have criticized the promoters for not releasing details about how much money from the concert’s proceeds will go to two charities that Mr. Jackson had supported during his life. Many have also said the promoters should have reached an agreement with Mr. Jackson’s estate before staging the concert.
“In all honesty, they haven’t answered any of my questions,” said Gary Taylor, the president of the Micheal Jackson Community in Britain, which has 80,000 registered members. “Where is the money going? Who is benefiting?”
“They just don’t want to listen to what we have to say,” he added.
Juliette Harris, a spokeswoman for the promoter, Global Live Events, said the goal of the calls was to open a dialogue with the fan clubs and counter some false reports on fan Web sites, among them the charge that none of the ticket proceeds would go to charity and that the tickets could not be refunded. “We are not trying to persuade people or change their minds,” she said. “Our goal is to say ‘Here are the facts.’

A Tribute to Jackson Riles Fans and Family
New York Times - It seems that nothing involving Michael Jackson or his fractious family is ever free of controversy, even two years after his death.
The most recent flashpoint is a tribute concert to be staged in Wales in October. The plans have divided the Jackson family, pitting Janet Jackson and two brothers against their mother and four other siblings. The Jackson estate has refused to give its blessing and has raised questions about the promoter’s charitable intentions. Fan groups are up in arms over high ticket prices and what they see as sloppy planning; their ire reached a peak when it was announced that a rock singer who had openly accused Mr. Jackson of molesting children was on the bill.
“This is the one and only time we can do this, and they are not doing it right,” said Gary Taylor, the president of the Michael Jackson Community, a fan organization in Britain with 80,000 registered members. “This is totally against what Michael would do.”
Feelings about the concert have gotten so raw that the promoters are holding a conference call with the leaders of fan organizations on Wednesday.
Chris Hunt, the British film producer who is the driving force behind the concert, said his company had been the victim of “disinformation that is being spread around.” He promised that the event, at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, the Welsh capital, on Oct. 8, would be an extravagant show worthy of Mr. Jackson. He disputed the charge coming from fan organizations that he and a few members of the Jackson family were seeking to profit from Mr. Jackson’s celebrity.

35 Michael Jackson Fan Communities Call for Cancellation of Tribute Concert
Via Stereoboard UK - The door is slowly closing on the Michael Forever Tribute concert, set to take place at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on October 8th, after over 35 of the leading Michael Jackson fan forums issued a statement advising the organisers Global Live Events to cancel the gig.
The open letter, led by MJJCommunity, the largest online Michael Jackson forum, highlights their refusal to support the gig and describes the concert as ‘doomed’. They also heavily reiterate points such as the addition and removal of Gene Simmons and his band KISS, who publicly branded Michael a child molester, despite the singer being cleared of all charges in 2005, and the fact that the show is scheduled to take place during the Conrad Murray manslaughter trial.
A part of the letter reads: “From the timing of this tribute, in the middle of Dr. Murray's trial, to the ticketing prices, to the obscurity over what charities will be receiving the donation, to the no-guarantee policy of performers, the addition of Gene Simmons and dishonoring, thus tarnishing Michael Jackson's legacy was simply the last straw.
“With the damage done, it will be the fans who work hard to overcome this debacle for Michael Jackson's legacy.”
A video protesting the tribute has also been created, which you can see embedded below.
Pressure has been growing on promoters Global Live Events to cancel the gig – initially, it was just Randy and Jermaine who opposed the concert. In a significant twist to the saga, last week, Michael Jacksons' Estate published an open letter they sent to Global Live Events concerning the show, forums worldwide have displayed their displeasure at the concert and even the event organiser's official Facebook page has been bombarded with attacks from fans.
Now this fan community letter, which is supported by MJ forums in countries like USA, UK, China, Russia, Germany and many, many more, encompassing million of registered fans, has edged the tribute closer to a premature end.
Organiser Paul Ring recently made comments regarding the future of the concert to the BBC, saying “The concert is very much going ahead.”
The registration period for the concert is set to end at midnight today (August 21st). The organisers have indicated that tickets are set to go onsale at 9am on Wednesday August 24th BST, with those that preregistered for tickets being contacted within 24 hours.

From CNN -
Well friends - it seems as though we were mentioned and quoted in a CNN article about this Forever Michael Tribute and the fact that MOST fans are against it -
Los Angeles (CNN) -- Michael Jackson fan clubs appeared in open revolt against a tribute show for the late pop star after promoters added the rock band KISS to the concert lineup on Monday.
Fan objected because of negative comments KISS leader Gene Simmons made about Jackson in interviews the days and weeks after his death two years ago. Simmons spoke about his suspicions that Jackson, who was acquitted of child molestation in 2005, was a pedophile.
"In the days following Michael Jackson's death, Gene Simmons has made slanderous, derogatory comments about Michael and his children," the fan site United For Michael Jackson's Legacy said. "It is quite ironic that Simmons has now agreed to himself pay tribute to the man he called a child predator."
Promoters, who had hoped the addition of the legendary group would bolster their lineup, said they were unaware of Simmons' statements when they booked KISS for the show.
The fan website MJ4Justice was one of several calling for a boycott of "Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert" scheduled for October 8 in Cardiff, Wales.
Jackson's kids excited about tribute Murray defense: Put Jackson on trial? "Either they don't have access to computers, telephones or do not know how to use GOOGLE," MJ4Justice said in an online statement. "But, There is NO excuse for the Tribute organizers NOT to know Gene Simmons should not be part of any Michael Jackson Tribute Event."
Global Live Events executives appeared with Jackson matriarch Katherine Jackson on CNN Monday to announce the signing of KISS.
"I know he would be very excited about KISS," Michael Jackson's mother said.
But within minutes, their tribute's Facebook page was filled with negative fan reactions.
"This is a complete disgrace," wrote one fan. "You can kiss your audience goodbye folks. I doubt whether any self-respecting fan will pay a penny to see that man after the comments he made about Michael. I'm shocked this act was even considered."
The executors of the Michael Jackson estate also spoke out, sending a letter to the promoters late Monday saying they were "especially disappointed" by the announcement that KISS was in the show. The estate asked promoters to provide an explanation.
"As I am sure you are aware, Mr. Simmons has made numerous disparaging public comments about Michael Jackson after his passing," estate lawyer Howard Weitzman wrote in the letter obtained by CNN. He called media coverage of he controversy "extraordinarily embarrassing."
The estate, which has not sanctioned the event, also questioned the promoters' promise to share profits with charities and a provision in the terms of the ticket sale that as long as 50% of the billed acts show up there would be no refunds,.
"It is a concern to us that loyal Michael Jackson fans will pay for tickets and not receive full benefir for their purchase, nor will they be able to get a full refund if certain artists they paid to see cancel their participation," the letter said.
The KISS controversy overshadowed other announcements that promoters expected would gain fan support for their show, including word that many of the musicians who played in Jackson's touring band for the past two decades would reunite as the show's house band.
Kevin Dorsey, who served as musical director for several Michael Jackson tours, will also direct the show.
Other acts signed for the show include Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, Smokey Robinson, Cee Lo Green and JLS. Alternative rock band Alien Ant Farm and British R&B singer Craig David are also on the bill.
Members of the Jackson family set to take the stage include "the next generation of Jacksons" and 3T, which consists of Tito Jackson's three sons, the promoters said.
It is also expected one or more of the three Jackson sisters -- Janet, La Toya and Rebe -- will perform.
It appeared unlikely the tribute stage would be the scene for a reunion for the surviving members of the Jackson 5. While Jackie, Tito and Marlon support it, brothers Jermaine and Randy have publicly objected to the show being held at the same time as the trial for Michael Jackson's doctor.
"While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death," Jermaine and Randy Jackson said in a joint statement last month.
Dr. Conrad Murray's involuntary manslaughter trial begins in September and is expected to continue through October.
"The trial is very important and I can understand how Randy and Jermaine feel, but it's been two years," Katherine Jackson told CNN Monday. "I thought it was a good idea; I'd like to keep Michael's legacy alive."
Katherine Jackson plans to attend the trial, although she will miss some days to fly to Wales to attend the show with Michael Jackson's children, she said.
"It will be on a Saturday when the courtroom is dark," Paul Ring, a Global Live Events executive said.
Fans can get tickets through a two-step process. They must first "register their interest for tickets" online at http://www.michaelforevertribute.com/.
A lottery will decide which fans will be emailed invitation to complete the ticket purchase.
The concert in the Wales Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, which seats 75,000 people, would be at least four hours long, Global Live Events CEO Chris Hunt said.

We are calling for a Boycott of the Michael Forever Tribute Concert!
Either they dont have access to computers, telephones or do not know how to use GOOGLE.
But, There is NO excuse for the Tribute organizers NOT to know Gene Simmons should not be part of any Michael Jackson Tribute Event.
Today's announcement , that KISS will be part of the Michael Tribute was the absolutely last straw for legions of MJ's fans.
KISS' Gene Simmons has made numerous slanderous and inappropriate comments about Michael.
And he has no business on any stage, that professes to be in Tribute of Michael Jackson.
Nor, does Simmons, an obvious hater , deserve to be anywhere near Michael's children, who may be in attendance.
We are joining forces with many Michael Jackson Fan Communities , by calling for a FULL BOYCOTT of the Michael Forever Tribute Concert.
Furthermore, We will not support any event, that does not have the full backing of the Estate of Michael Jackson .
We also do not support any activity that interferes and does not work towards the interests of justice for Michael.
It is clear that the Michael Forever Tribute concert promoters and their associates have NO REGARD for Michael or his wishes.
Nor, have they taken the time to research or truly understand , Michael's fans.
It is also painfully clear, that their goal is not respect for Michael's legacy but a greedy , self serving attempt to cash in on the grief of Michael's fans.
There is no excuse for this blatant disregard for his legacy.
Michael Jackson deserves better than this!
We have had enough!!
They have been loyal. They are activists. They will fight with you about me".

CNN: No acts set for Michael Jackson tribute as ticket sales start
Los Angeles (CNN) -- A planned Michael Jackson tribute concert, supported by the late pop star's mother and four siblings, was in disarray Thursday amid family squabbling and the apparent failure of promoters to sign any big-name acts so far.
Tickets for the show, scheduled for Cardiff, Wales, in October, were to go on sale Thursday, but fans still had no idea of who would perform.
The head of the British company promoting the concert promised last week it would "feature the world's most amazing music performers." The roster would be revealed online one act at a time over the next 10 days weeks, Global Live Events CEO Chris Hunt told reporters at a July 25 news conference.
"Everybody's in the midst of signing contracts so nothing can be announced until that happens," Juliette Harris, spokeswoman for Global Live Events, told CNN late Tuesday. She suggested an announcement would come Wednesday.
By Thursday, still no acts had been announced.
The problems started soon after brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie, sister La Toya and family matriarch Katherine Jackson attended the "Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert" announcement at the Beverly Hills Hotel on July 25.
La Toya Jackson said it was "something that's spectacular" while the Jacksons' mother called it "a show fit for a king."
"If my son were here today, he would feel the same way," Katherine Jackson said.
"I know my brother would be very, very proud to see all the artists that he admired and respected so much coming together for this event," Tito Jackson said.
But an hour later, Jermaine and Randy Jackson, the only brothers not at the news conference, issued a sharply worded statement that reflected a deep division within the Jackson family over the show.
"We want to make clear that this does not reflect the position of the entire family," the two brothers said in a joint statement.
"While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death."
While Hunt had hinted it could include a Jackson brothers reunion, the statement from Jermaine and Randy Jackson made it clear that would not happen.
"In light of this, we feel it is inappropriate to be involved with such an ill-timed event and its promoter, Global Live," Randy and Jermaine Jackson said.
Their statement said the idea of the October concert was presented to the entire family in April "as an idea already in its advanced stages." The decision to go ahead with it "disrespects opinions and wishes expressed in the strongest terms" by some members of the Jackson family, they said.
The Michael Jackson Fan Club agreed with the two brothers, issuing a similar statement.
"We share their concerns that this concert is taking place at a most inappropriate time when everyone's care and attention should be focused on the matter of justice. We believe that, as stated by Jermaine and Randy, the most important tribute we can give to Michael Jackson at this time is to seek justice in his name."
Jackson fans posted messages on the concert's Facebook page questioning ticket prices and the process for buying them.
Fans must place bids for a chance to buy a ticket. The higher their pledge to a charity, the better their chances of getting a good seat.
"The ticket system is so bad!! the higher you bid the better seats you get?? not every Michael fan is rich!!!" one fan posted on the "Michael Forever Tribute" Facebook page Thursday.
After several days of such negative posts, a link to the Facebook page was removed from the concert's website.
The October 8 show, in the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, which seats 75,000 people, would be at least four hours long, Hunt said.
In addition to the other problems surrounding the event, a spokesman for Michael Jackson's estate said last week that the promoters never sought or obtained permission from the estate's executors to use late pop singer's name or image.
"The estate has not been contacted and is not involved with Global Live Events in the UK tribute concert announced today," spokesman Jim Bates told CNN.

Important Message from the Michael Jackson Estate
In the spirit of the mutual respect that we have built over the past months, we wanted to make you aware of something. In the best interests of furthering Michael’s legacy and ensuring that EVERYONE (not just the fantastic fans who already know true from false) receives accurate information from the Estate and those that help protect and enhance Michael’s legacy, the Estate is going to authorize Facebook to remove all non Estate-related Michael Jackson profiles on their social network.
Facebook has made us aware that many of these false (and/or “non-official”) pages violate Facebook’s TOS (“terms of service”) agreements. The problem we’re having is that while many of the fan-created Michael pages are wonderful, respectful, and informative, many are not, and this can be very confusing and/or misleading for MJ fans around the world, both old and especially new.
We know that none of you are confused by profiles misrepresenting themselves as official Michael pages, but the general public is not as MJ-savvy as you are, and we want to ensure that everyone has the best and most accurate Facebook experience regarding Michael. From this point forward, there will be only one Facebook page for Michael, and the Estate will be watching over it carefully, creating a lot of new, interesting content, and in general, becoming much more involved on an ongoing basis. Of course, we will be looking to you over the coming months to help us, to provide ideas, and to really be a part of the experience! After all, who knows Michael and his fans better than you, the real fans, do?
Just to be clear, Facebook is not intending to remove all pages with any Michael Jackson content. They will be looking at pages which are misleading by pretending to be – or appear to the average eye to be - “official” pages, or pages purporting to be an official MJ page authorized by the Estate or one of its licensees like Sony, Ubisoft or Cirque du Soleil. Obviously, this is a judgment call, and we will make every effort to ensure that fan pages, fan groups, etc. are untouched, there is a human element to all of this, so in the beginning, some judgment calls will undoubtedly have to be made. We expect this action to commence in the very near future, perhaps as soon as later this week or next. Thus, if you have a Michael Jackson page which contains any content on Facebook that you think may be questionable to someone else, and you want to protect or keep your content, we’re giving you advance notice so that you can take action now to do whatever you think is proper before Facebook starts removing any “questionable” pages.

News from the United4MJlegacy group: FANS UNITE To Remove Diane Dimond from all Entertainment Tonight Michael Jackson Coverage!
18 months after Michael Jackson's death, millions of his fans are appalled that tabloid journalist, Diane Dimond, who along with the Santa Barbara's district attorney, lead the witch hunt against the beloved performer in 2005, is still riding on Jackson's name to earn a living.
We are saddened that Entertainment Tonight has given such a divisive , individual a platform to air her lies during the Michael Jackson's manslaughter trial.
Her bias and conflict of interests in any regard to Michael Jackson are apparent to everyone.
Diane Dimond has no business covering someone she worked all these years to destroy, going as far as fabricating evidence, using her press credentials to report lies for her friends in the Santa Barbara's DA's office.
In fact, Mr.Jackson sued Ms.Dimond when she was involved in a fabricated story involving him.
In 1995, when Dimond was working for "Hard Copy," she reported that Sneddon was searching for an explicit 27-minute videotape showing Jackson molesting a boy.
Sneddon soon concluded that no such video existed, but not before Dimond appeared on L.A.'s KABC radio and her Paramount-produced tabloid show to trumpet the imagined X-rated details.
In her quest for Michael Jackson's blood, she has become a journalistic caricature, without professional ethics .
We, Michael Jackson fans, are appalled that even after his death, he cannot escape his enemies.
We are now coming together to request that Entertainment Tonight remove Diane Dimond FROM ALL Michael Jackson related coverage, specifically the preliminary hearing and the upcoming manslaughter trial.
Her well documented bias against Jackson and your callous decision to hire her AFTER his death is a slap in the face of your viewers and an insult to the memory of the performer.
This campaign's objective is to convince ET to remove diane Dimond from all their MJ coverage IMMEDIATELY.
We will start by tweeting the producers and on-air personalities, and emailing them at et.newsdesk@cbsparamount.com asking that Diane Dimond be removed from all MJ coverage duties.
At the same time, we will encourage fans to switch to Access Hollywood, ET's main competitor.
Fans may remember that Michael Jackson gave his last TV interview to Billy Bush of Access Hollywood from Ireland.
We are hoping ,we will get a immediate response and this will not have to escalate to contacting the advertisers of Entertainment Tonight.
Michael Jackson's millions of fans are steadfast and determined to protect and defend his legacy. As evident, in the fan's sucessful campaign to prevent the Discovery Channel special on Michael Jackson's autopsy.
Please continue to help us support Michael Jackson's legacy.
If the Fans do not unite to protect Michael's legacy - who will?
