This once-in-a-lifetime electrifying production will use Cirque du Soleil creativity to give fans worldwide a unique view into the spirit, passion and heart of the artistic genius who forever transformed global pop culture. Written and directed by Jamie King, the show includes 64 international dancers, musicians and acrobats.

New York, NY – At 11:00 AM EST today, October 31st the debut track from the upcoming Michael Jackson album, IMMORTAL, entitled "Immortal Megamix", will be unveiled to the world on www.AOL.com. The track is comprised of four of Michael’s greatest hits redesigned and re-imagined as never before. Included in the unique mix are “Can You Feel It,” “Don't Stop ‘Til You Get Enough,” “Billie Jean,” and “Black Or White.” “Immortal Megamix” is a show-stopping highlight of the Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour show and a showcased track on Michael’s forthcoming Epic Records release, IMMORTAL.
Following the premiere on AOL, the “Immortal Megamix” will be available to stream at www.MichaelJackson.com and on Michael Jackson’s Facebook page.
Starting tomorrow Tuesday, November 1st, IMMORTAL will be available for pre-order on iTunes in both the deluxe double disc and single disc edition. Upon completion of a pre-order for the deluxe double disc edition, "Immortal Megamix" will be downloaded instantly.
On November 21, Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, will release IMMORTAL – the highly anticipated soundtrack for Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour. IMMORTAL will be released as both a deluxe double disc edition and single disc.
Esteemed musical designer, Kevin Antunes, worked with Jamie King, the writer/director of the Immortal show, in redesigning and reimagining more than 40 of Michael Jackson’s greatest original recordings to synch with the visuals on screen and the live action on stage. After spending a year in the studio working with Michael’s original multi-track master recordings, Kevin created a new soundscape to Michael’s artistry while preserving the power and familiarity of his unparalleled voice and his legendary tracks.
Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour includes over 100 minutes of Michael's original recordings reimagined for Cirque du Soleil. Placing all of this incredible music onto a single disc proved impossible hence the single disc edition which is jam-packed with nearly 78 minutes of highlights and the double disc edition which offers listeners the opportunity to enjoy music from the Immortal show from start to finish as it is experienced during the performance of the show.

There is nothing but L.O.V.E & Respect on the stage of Cirque du Soleil - Michael Jackson , The Immortal World Tour.
It was clear that everyone involved in this production had 2 goals.... to showcase their Love for Michael Jackson and Respect for his legacy.
I was honored to represent “MJ4JUSTICE.com, and join a group of MJ fan groups from around the
world , in Montreal to see a rehearsal preview of the show.
From the moment we entered -the Bell Center in downtown Montreal, it was obvious that Michael Jackson and Cirque have plenty in common. The perfect example of poetic synergy!
A need for perfection, and a passion for innovation and creativity.
As MJ has often said “ It has to be the BEST”.
It is the perfect combination of two iconic and creative powerhouse brands, Michael Jackson and Cirque Du Soleil.
We met the creative team for Michael Jackson, The Immortal Tour including , Michael’s- musical collaborator/Musical Director- Greg Phillinganes, Costume Designer- Zaldy, MJ's Drummer John “Sugarfoot” Moffett, Choreographers-The Talauega Brothers, Executive Producer- Stephane Mongeau, Cirque Creative Director -Chantal Tremblay , Musical Designer Kevin Antunes and many of the dancers, acrobats of Cirque du Soleil.
Every last one of these talented artists promised us - that they were dedicated to do “RIGHT” by Michael. They were determined to make this production, a loving testament to his legacy.
They want Michael's fans to be inspired and happy for having had this magical experience.
They asked for our feedback and with everything in the MJ Fan community, we gave them, just that :) !
The creative team listened intently to what the fans had to offer, took our suggestions in, and thanked us for being part of the process!
The Music - is OFF THE HOOK !! Greg Phillinganes and Kevin Antunes - have done an outstanding and masterful job in creating a LIVE music concert experience for all of us.
The music was exciting , vibrant and bittersweet. Classic MJ, at his best!

The creative team of Cirque- did a tremendous amount of “MICHAEL” research and made sure all of Michael’s passions and interests are reflected in this show.
You will witness Michael’s love for the planet, for the children of the world and for people everywhere.
It is the perfect showcase to illustrate Michael's capacity to love.
What Cirque has done to pay homage to what Michael, held close to his heart- is nothing short of a masterpiece.
It is all reflected beautifully in the sets, costumes, the music and the dance.
They have gone to great lengths to make sure ... the devoted fans of Michael Jackson are pleased, and it is evident, that a great deal of respect is displayed for Michael, the man, the humanitarian, the poet and the entertainer .
As Berry Gordy once said, “Michael Jackson...quite simply, was the greatest entertainer, that ever lived” and there will be no doubt about that..... after watching , this amazing show.
This show is for everyone .......lifelong MJ fans and the new generation of fans - who are discovering MJ, for the first time.
Bring your dancing shoes , of course - because you will want to JAM, scream, sing and shout!
Bring your Kleenex , because in several portions of the show, I found myself in tears, remembering the time - and remembering , what we have lost .
What Cirque has done with Human Nature will simply... take your breath away.
I am going to see, the show in Montreal, Vegas and New York City and I am sure, that each time, I will come away with some new revelations.
There is some much to absorb and take in.
It is Fun, Nostalgic , Bittersweet, Exciting but the most important thing for me - was Michael Jackson, The Immortal Tour represents .....Michael's heart.
While, sitting in the audience, I kept thinking “Michael would be SO proud” and he would have love this!"

This experience is expected to include a wide variety of elements such as an up-close look at Michael Jackson memorabilia, items from Neverland Ranch, photo opportunities in recreated sets from historic Michael Jackson videos, a behind the scenes look at the creation of Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour, a main stage featuring contests, Q&A sessions with members of the creative team from THE IMMORTAL World Tour as well as other associates of Michael Jackson, giveaways and more.
In addition, the Fan Fest will give attendees the chance to play and compete against others in contests centered around the recently released UBISOFT video game "Michael Jackson: The Experience." An interactive, engaging, and immersive design will create a larger than life environment for all Fan Fest goers and promises to be a one-of-a-kind unique event.

Cirque du Soleil launches high-flying Michael Jackson tribute
After paying tribute to the Beatles with its Fab Four-themed Love, Montreal's famed Cirque du Soleil troupe of acrobatic performers is now taking on the King of Pop.
Michael Jackson The Immortal launches in Cirque's hometown Montreal on October 2 and will travel to 47 cities around North America through July 17 in a splashy tribute filled with the music and iconic moves of Michael Jackson. Organizers announced that the show will tour the rest of the globe, but dates and details are not yet available.
"The creative force of 10 cutting-edge choreographers brings complexity and depth as we work together with the performers to bring Michael Jackson's music to life," stated a press release on August 29.
The tour is deemed the largest yet for a Cirque du Soleil production and promises to deliver "a riveting fusion of visuals, dance, music, and fantasy that immerses audiences in Michael's creative world and literally turns his signature moves upside down."
Also honoring MJ, pop singers Christina Aguilera and Beyonce and Motown legend Smokey Robinson will head the lineup for a Michael Jackson tribute concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in Wales on October 8.

MICHAEL JACKSON CELEBRATED IN LAS VEGAS
Mandalay Bay, Cirque du Soleil and The Estate of Michael Jackson confirm plans
LAS VEGAS – Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino President and Chief Operating Officer, Chuck Bowling, Cirque du Soleil President and CEO, Daniel Lamarre and Estate of Michael Jackson Co-Executor, John Branca confirmed the venue for a permanent Michael Jackson production at Mandalay Bay and announced new aspects of the creative relationship in a press conference held today at the resort. Production has begun to evaluate the transformation of the resort’s theater and identification of the creative team for the show, which is slated to open in the spring of 2013.
Chuck Bowling said: "The world may never again know a force in entertainment of the caliber of Michael Jackson. On behalf of the entire Mandalay Bay and MGM Resorts International teams, we are deeply honored and humbled to be home to incredible entertainment celebrating his legacy for new generations to come.
Daniel Lamarre added: “We are excited about creating this new Michael Jackson production for Mandalay Bay. Michael Jackson is creatively inspiring forCirque du Soleil artisans and creative teams. There are so many common creative elements between us that it is a pleasure to imagine this new production. It is also very exciting that we will be presenting Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour at Mandalay Bay for an extended run this December and Jamie King and the creative team are promising us a pop rock spectacular to kick things off grandly.”

MICHAEL JACKSON THE IMMORTAL WORLD TOUR
Opening December 3 at Mandalay Bay, Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour will perform in Las Vegas for an extended run on its highly anticipated North American tour. This extended stop will allow fans from all over the world to converge on Las Vegas , the perfect international destination for visitors to discover the new home of Michael Jackson, and experience the pop rock extravaganza imagined by Jamie King.
THE MICHAEL JACKSON FAN FEST
To kick-off the tour stop in Las Vegas, fans will have the chance to experience the legacy of Michael Jackson in a whole new way during the first ever Estate-authorized Michael Jackson Fan Fest taking place for a limited time only at Mandalay Bay beginning December 3, 2011. This experience is expected to include a wide variety of elements such as an up-close look at Michael Jackson memorabilia, items from Neverland Ranch, photo opportunities in recreated sets from historic Michael Jackson videos, a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour, a main stage featuring contests, Q&A sessions with members of the creative team fromMichael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour as well as other associates of Michael Jackson, giveaways and more. In addition, the Fan Fest will give attendees the chance to compete against one another in contests centered around the recently released UBISOFT video game "Michael Jackson The Experience."
An interactive, engaging, and immersive design will create a larger-than-life environment for all Fan Fest goers and promises to be a unique event. The Fan Fest will be open for 4 hours before Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour shows on December 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 in Mandalay Bay’s Bayside Exhibit Halls. In the case of two-show nights, the Fan Fest will have two sessions open to the public at separate starting times. In addition, new dates are being added to the existing schedule or extra seats released in more than 25 cities across North America.
Cirque du Soleil also announced that Greg Phillinganes, one of Michael Jackson’s key creative collaborators on some of his most memorable tours and albums, has joined the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour creative team as music director, providing an unparalleled depth of knowledge of Michael’s music and the live Michael Jackson experience.
