Martin Luther King once said:
”History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.”
Last night, a group of dedicated fans made the almost-impossible, possible.
They were able to get Michael Jackson's name uncovered from the
Gardner School in California.
I applaud the efforts of these dedicated group of fans. They did not take NO
for answer! Respect for the legacy of the King of Pop, was their focus!
Their efforts should inspire all of us, and it is beautiful example of when Michael Jackson's fans put their hearts and minds together for the greater good- we can not be defeated!
We have so much more work to be done and I ask all of you to get behind the many efforts created to protect the legacy of Michael Jackson.
Next Up is the group dedicated to get MTV- to reinstate the Michael Jackson Video Award.
There is NO OTHER artist, who , has done more to create MTV- than Michael Jackson. And I suspect MTV knows that too!
Now, is the time for integrity and MTV NOW is your time to do right by Michael
Jackson, his legacy and most importantly, his beloved children.
We will not stop until this is done! There is too much at stake!
To the Jackson Family - I promise, you that MJ's fans will not give up on this and many other important other causes.
When we needed him Michael Jackson was there for us.
Now, it is our turn to be there for him!
