MJ4JUSTICE

Just returned from a trip to Ireland.
I went to connect with 2 sisters friends, that I would have not met except for Michael.
It is a true testament to MJ’s heart that , we even connected in the first place. After june 25th, 2009-  many of us turned to social media to find a connection, to share our grief and to make some type of sense of out the loss.

A year ago , Tina, Jakki and I met on Facebook and began a bond, that i hope will last a lifetime.   It was out of that bond, that we planned to meet in Ireland.
Jakki’s home and the place that Michael found true happiness with his children.

From stepping off of the plane in Dublin, everything seemed different, the people, even the air smelled different - clean and sweet. For me, there was a sense of peace and serenity

. Almost hard to explain but the feeling was real and calming. I could see why...Michael Loved Ireland so.
Despite whatever , is going on your life, what ever troubles and stress is in your life...arriving in Ireland, made them disappear for a time. And I could imagine that is what appealed to Michael most.
It certainly had that impact for me, as well.

Although, I was heartbroken, that we never made it to  the town that Michael called home in Ireland.  I soon realized that Michael was every where in Dublin...and that made me smile

. I heard his music in airport, I saw his military influence in the clothes in the shopping mall, the local nightclub had Michael’s posters on the wall, his picture was on the cover of magazines in the supermarket.
His clothes from his last performance at the Apollo Theatre were graciously displayed at the NewBridge silverware shop and museum.
Yes, MJsheart was definitely in Ireland.

There are many personal memories of Michael’s Ireland for me.. Sharing Fried “Friend” Chicken and Carrot cake on his birthday with my friends..
Jakki’s nephew surprising us with his own MJ impersonation... Sharing “This is IT” with friends and seeing what was clearly in his heart and why he wanted this so badly for his fans and most importantly his children.
Doing our UStream Birthday tribute show and Meeting some other MJ fans from our Ustream ( Rhiannon, Rositsa and Sharon)

and the one experience that really touched my heart...

Across the street from our hotel is the ChristChurch Cathedral.

A grand and historic church, filled with serenity.  It is there, I realized why I was in Ireland...
It was through that serenity, I found what I was searching for ...MJsHeart.

In the solitude of the church, I was overwhelmed by a sense of love and peace.

Inside the Cathedral there is a Prayer Chapel...and visitors are able to pray and find a minute of peace.
It was in that room, surrounded by love.... I asked for prayers for my family members, especially for my mom and my sister -who sadly have passed away and I asked for prayers for Michael Jackson and prayers for his children.

In that request, there was some sadness, that these glorious people, who made such an impact on my life, where gone in the physical sense forever, but the most important part of them....was left behind ...LOVE!

Connecting to that emotion, gave me some peace , sitting alone in the Prayer Chapel of the ChristChurch.
And it was out of that LOVE, I lit a candle for my family and for Michael Jackson.

and in Ireland, I found MJsheart and found my own.

“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.”...Michael Jackson
