One year ago- and 5 days from now, the world as we knew it - changed forever.
We all knew, it was coming, the sad 1-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death.
There is a line from the movie “Jaws” and it goes like this, “ We are going to need a bigger Boat”
and I say that now, to the Fans of Michael Jackson. The sharks, vultures, slime, pretenders are here and they are searching to get some cash from this sad occasion.
The sad and classic search for another “15 minutes of fame”
I watch , the promos for the TV shows that are being promoted and I think to Myself “ Does anyone mourn anymore?”
I am astonished by the numerous “close friends of Michael” - who for some ill-conceived reasons- think that the best way to pay tribute to him, was to get their face in front of a television camera.
Really, Does anyone just mourn anymore.?
ABC hires Martin Bashir , who lied and destroyed Michael and then, Michael’s friends agree to an interview on ABC.
Someone, please explain this to me - it makes no sense and it is not really, how any friend should behave!
TLC Network decided to do a documentary on “The Secret lives of Michael Jackson’s Children”
- Really, TLC ? - you pick on Michael’s children- are you really devoid of any integrity to target - 3 innocent children , who are still mourning their beloved father.
And to make matters worse, the special includes interviews with Mark Lester- slug, slime and an opportunist and Rabbi Schmuley who wasted no time - betraying his friend, Michael jackson.
MJ fans, we are going to have to shut off the TV, this week. Let’s work together and find some other ways to honor and respect Michael Jackson. Find something productive and charitable to do. Something MIKE-LIKE!
Or find sometime - to enjoy the wonders of the planet- Go climb a tree - and contemplate!
This week is going to be hard for all of us! And we need to be supportive of the mutual pain and loss, we are experiencing.
I have lost 2 family members with the last 8 years and I often think of them, when I make a major decision. “ What would my mother, think about this”
And not, once has the answer been - “Go on National TV and share all my family’s personal business”
It should not be done to someone in your family, you loved and it should not be done to Michael Jackson!
Does anyone know, how to mourn anymore?
